What I Do
What I Do
First and foremost, I am an educator. I believe that every child deserves a holistic, engaging education. Children are researchers exploring and navigating the world around them. Every moment is an opportunity to carve a new future possibility. Guiding students to experiences that helps fuel their curiosity is essential for building excitement about learning. The three ways I work with students, schools, and families are to:
Lead Field Trips, Coordinate Workshops, and Provide Tutoring
Field Trips
Experiential education is essential for reinforcing curriculum knowledge. What’s even better is that field trips are just plain fun. Unfortunately, teachers and administrators are so busy with the day to day craziness of managing classrooms and a school, field trips get left behind. Students shouldn’t be limited in these experiences. I make trips easy for schools by communicating with programs and sites, planning transportation and schedules, and providing supplemental learning materials.
Workshops
Everybody should have the opportunity to learn a new skill and bringing in a workshop is the perfect way to do it! Whether you want to start a garden at your school or have professional development for your staff, there is a workshop that fits your need. Without any of the hassle, I bring the perfect workshop to you.
Tutoring
Does your student need some experienced homework help? Do you want to help your child build great study skills? Are they falling behind and need experienced guidance? Trained as a Montessori teacher, I provide engaging, child focused lessons for any subject and any age. Homework won’t be a chore when I help. I guarantee improvement.
